Abstract :
Focus on the smart grid has brought renew interest in enhancement of power distribution network. This paper analyses several trends in smart distribution system for the use of technology, performance and configuration. The radial, looped, and networked primary and secondary system have been comparing. It is discussed that operation and evaluation performance of distribution, such as voltage regulation, efficiency, reliability, power quality, operation under faulted conditions. Finally, the development of smart distribution networks is promoted by internet of thins, power electronics, delivery equipment, advanced measurement system.
