Abstract :
This paper introduces a package for switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive on power system computer-aided design (PSCAD) software. A model for the drive is built with a nonlinear analytical model of the motor, the converter and the controller. The simulation results show the effect of some control parameters on the dynamic behavior of the drive.
