Abstract :
Due to the lack of permanent monitoring and comprehensive analysis of information, the preventive conservation of cultural heritage has a long way to go. In this paper, we present an overall solution for preventive conservation of the Earthen Site: HanGuang Entrance Museum in Xi´An(China). The contributions range from the deployment of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) to the damage assessment model under the Multisensor Data Fusion theory. We mainly study the multisensor data fusion theory, and propose a Two-Level information fusion model, called Earthen Site Fusion Model (ESFM), which is dedicated to the damage assessment of Earthen Site. Then Kalman filter for Low Level Fusion and Bayesian Network for High Level Fusion are discussed. Finally, the effectiveness of the ESFM is verified through the testing dataset, and the further work is proposed at the end of the paper.
