Abstract :
With the rapid development of socio-economic, the public security is facing increasingly serious challenge. Police geographic information system (PGIS) has been widely promoted and is playing an important role in effective and efficiency for keeping national security. Police intelligence analysis function is one of core parts of PGIS which exactly and rapidly deal with emergencies to decrease damage and protect national security. Today, dozens of different types of police information system accumulated plenty relative data which can use in policing judgment researching. This paper showed how to use huge GIS to manage policing data, how to use data mining technology to get useful information from plenty resource and get statistical reports, analyze where crime happen frequently. Take advantage of GIS spatial analysis functions to establish variety information analysis modules to provide timely and accurate data analysis information to all levels of police stations. The result of the research showed that policeman can get higher quality data which help those making decisions and increase their respond to deal with complex emergencies quickly.
