Abstract :
A delayed N-path structure for high-speed adaptive infinite impulse response (IIR) digital filtering is presented. The strategy adopted for the structural side is to apply the delayed N -path structure to realize each of the numerator and the denominator polynomials of the equation-error-based IIR adaptive digital filtering model. The strategy adopted for the adaptive algorithm is to apply a variable-step method for the adaptive algorithm. Simulation results are included pertaining to using this structure and algorithm for system identifications
