  • Abstract
    The circle optimal traffic control issue designing of the traffic signs, is studied. It is found that the average waiting time is a crucial factor. The formula of the average waiting time and the saturation function are derived by the use of three models and the queuing theory. The models presented in this paper could well serve as guidelines for the design and analysis of the traffic circle.
