Weatherproof pole mounted terminal

Drop wires radiate from pole top to subscribers´ premises and are connected by the pole mounted block terminal to the distribution cable and hence to the exchange. The distribution cable remains connected for the life of the terminal, a nominal twenty years, but the drop wire connection may be broken and remade as required. Access to the drop wire connection is necessary for changing subscribers´ needs, testing and drop wire replacement
