Abstract :
New operational-transconductor-amplifier (OTA)-based analog CMOS building blocks for realizing fuzzy membership functions and maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) operations are proposed. These building blocks for analog fuzzy inference circuits are described in detail. The synthesis of these circuits is based on a bounded-difference operation. Through their SPICE simulations, precision of operations, speed, and power consumption have been analyzed. The SPICE simulations showed that they are suitable for real-time applications
