Abstract
Due to energy constraints of sensor devices, object localization and tracking is usually a challenging application for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Energy conservation should be kept in mind in all designing steps. The proposed method in this paper has considered both energy consumption and quality of tracking. Our approach involves only sensors in which are localized relating to the target movement; while others will be preserved in sleep state. These nodes are outer boundary of a square that we called it Bright Square. Central node of the square has been defined as local manager which has to supervise different activities of the Bright Square.
