Abstract
In most conference room, lecture hall or auditorium of the teleconferencing systems, it is limited and unreliable to take both full view images of a conference room and face images of speakers. To counter such special circumstances, contained more participants and scattered seats, this paper analyzes the optical structure principles of panoramic mosaic camera. The advantages and disadvantages of phase correlation methodology are also discussed. In addition, both the idea and the implementation of view scene mosaic are proposed. Finally we present the evaluation results, showing that this panoramic mosaic camera can satisfy the requirement of teleconferencing systems.
