  • Abstract
    A hierarchical planning scheme is presented for the layout synthesis of analogue VLSI circuit. The expert system developed using this technique has proved to be a very powerful and flexible approach for solving the problems which are unique to the analogue VLSI domain. The case study example gave a detailed insight to the general working of the expert layout system developed for dealing with the design intricacies of analogue VLSI design
