  • Abstract
    This paper presents a mode matching technique for solving the waveguide junction problems. Some closed-form integration expressions for reaction matrix, which aids in efficient implementation of the codes for junction analysis, have been derived. Generalized MATLAB codes have been implemented to study the scattering parameters for symmetric circular waveguide junctions and for symmetric or asymmetric rectangular waveguide junctions. Computed results have been verified with simulation in Ansoft HFSS and close match is obtained.
