Abstract :
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) techniques have been applied to the demodulators used in an EIT system and the resulting improvement in SNR has enabled data collection at real time rates. DSP technology also finds application in the real-time reconstruction of EIT images, although other processors such as the transputer are also suitable
