Abstract :
The performance analysis of a wideband cavity backed meander probe fed patch antenna is presented. The variations in ground plane size and cavity height on antenna characteristics have been analyzed. The ground plane size variation significantly affects the wideband performance of the antenna. Effect of feed support on the input impedance of the antenna has been studied.
