Abstract :
Retiming is a design technique used to reposition the memory elements of a circuit while preserving its functionality. This paper suggests a novel approach by which solution to the retiming problem can be achieved; Particle Swarm approach is the one the authors suggested. This heuristic method is used to find clock period optimization in this paper. The result show that this approach can act as a pioneering for further study of optimization problem in VLSI circuit.
