  • Abstract
    Semisolid A356 alloy slurry is prepared by low super heat pouring and slightly electromagnetic stirring, and the effects of the stirring power on the semisolid slurry poured by low superheat pouring are studied. The results indicate that the slurry with particle-like primary phase is prepared by slightly electromagnetic stirring, and the stirring power has the obvious effect on the formation of the particle-like primary phase with finer size. The preparing parameters for the slurry containing particle-like primary phase with finer size are obtained.
