Abstract
The fire-resistant calculation and design of high-rise steel structure is an important aspect of performance-based fire protection design. This article which focuses on the development of fire-safety design, discusses some methods on fire-resistant design in the demand of different norms. It explained that the key point of performance-based fire protection design is the proper analysis of the risk of a fire danger to a tall building. The target of the design based on the degree of probabilistic reliability.
