Abstract
The possibility of excitement of the fluctuations of whispering galleries with the capacitive slot in the open cylindrical resonator is considered. The structure of the field is explored and a location of the element supply of the resonator is optimized. The obtained results are of interest for development of devices for natural gas humidity measurements
