Abstract :
Summary form only given. In summary, at 10 Gbit/s the successful operation of a tapped delay line filter serving as an electronic (PMD) polarisation mode dispersion fibre equalizer was demonstrated by reducing the power penalty due to transmission via a real high PMD fiber by 8.2 dB.
