Abstract

Describes the contents and the position of real-time systems education within the overall study system at the Department of Electronics and Information Technology at Warsaw University of Technology. A course in real-time systems is offered for undergraduate students as a part of the “Computer Control Systems” study profile. The paper describes the study model at the Department, the pre-requisite knowledge required for the real-time systems course, the course curriculum, and the content of lectures and laboratory exercises which are mandatory for the students who selected the course
