Abstract :
A comparative study of split ring resonator (SRR) of different geometrical shape is presented in this paper. Closed form expressions for computing the resonance frequency of the circular, square and hexagonal shaped SRRs are also presented and compared. The surface current density of the SRRs is also studied using electromagnetic simulator and their comparative analysis is presented.
