Abstract :
Information convergence system is a unified and shared information platform which aggregates different levels of resources or services to make sure students and teachers can share their knowledge freely. Architecture design is crucial to campus information convergence system. However, it is hard to eliminate information islands from different departments or management organizations. To solve this issue, an architecture based on web service technique for E-learning is proposed in this paper. Resource sharing mechanism and workflows of this architecture are also given and discussed.
