Abstract
The authors describe what they call basic hypertext and present a logic model for it. It is noted that basic hypertext should be thought of as a rigorously presented approximation of current hypertext concepts. The authors then propose their concept of generalized hypertext, which is aimed at overcoming certain of the limitations of standard hypertext and which has been implemented in a DSS (decision support systems) shell called Max. They then present a logic model of generalized hypertext
