Abstract :
A Miniaturized planar complementary triangular split ring resonators (CTSRR) loaded in the ground plane of a microstrip bandpass filter is presented for spurious band suppression. Strong coupling between the asymmetrically loaded CTSRR and the transmission line inhibits propagation from 3.8GHz to 4.8GHz with a rejection level of better than -20dB.
