Abstract :
The term `flicker´ means the subjective impression of fluctuating luminance caused by voltage fluctuation. Derived from the UIE-flickermeter model and the PST evaluation, a digital algorithm for such flicker is deduced. An important aim is to clarify the summation effect of several independent flicker sources under consideration of the overlapping effects of different flicker producing processes. That means there is a possibility of controlling the common P ST-value by operational planning. The author shows that the problem of finding the starting points of the processes can be solved by a mathematical method
