Abstract :
Exact reciprocal formulation is proposed for the rigorous modeling of bolometric systems in transmitting mode, including the case of a bolometric detector in multi-mode waveguide. The formulation provides an exact reversal of the bolometer operation from the actual receiving mode to the effective transmitting mode so that all the parametric dependencies of power absorbed in receiving mode are reproduced identically by the power radiated in transmitting mode
