Abstract
Guidelines for the connection of wind turbines to an electric network have been set up by a working group. The contents of these guidelines are summarized in the report. The report gives information about the voltage rises and dips accepted in Danish LV- and MV-networks from wind turbines, and also the means used to reduce the dips. Theoretical investigations and practical measurements carried out to find out how a high level of windpower in a MV-network would influence the voltage regulation in the HV/MV substations are reported. Finally, the report defines the mutual constraints between the size of a power factor correcting capacitor and the settings of the protective relays of a wind turbine
