Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the adsorption of Cr(III) by natural zeolite and polymeric Al/Fe (PAFC) modified one. The effects of the kind of zeolite , surging time , initial concentration of Cr(III), pH and ionic strength on the adsorption performance were investigated. Meanwhile, the adsorption capacities of zeolite were discussed. The results showed that the amount of saturated adsorption of PAFC modified zeolite is 5.35 mg-g-1 greater than natural zeolite (4.44 mg-g-1 ). Among the several effects on the removal of Cr(III), initial concentration of Cr(III) and pH were more obvious.
