Abstract :
A new design scheme of the wireless handheld ordering terminal applied to middle and small hotel is proposed. The development of the wireless handheld terminal is based on the software-hardware platform of μC/OS-II and ARM7 core S3C44B0X, using μC/GUI and ZigBee short-range radio communication technologies. It has advantages of high performance-cost ratio, low power, high reliability and friendly user interface. This paper introduces hardware configuration and realization of software in detail, mainly analyses the porting of μC/GUI, multitask realization based on μC/OS-II and switching between user interfaces. Experimental results show that the ordering information can be transmitted successfully within 50 m.
