  • Abstract
The paper focus on purifying phosphorus by batch and column experiment and researching phosphorus removal theory of blast furnace slags. The content includes the following main parts: experiment method and procedure, results and discussion and conclusion. The results indicated: the phosphorus removal rate of solution containing 10 mg/L P is above 85% with 2.5 g BF slags, at 25°C. The equilibrium equation of isothermal adsorption was described with Langmuir equation. BF slag is a proper adsorbent that remove phosphorus in living sewage. The phosphorus removal theory of blast furnace slags is adsorption accompanying sedimentation. Pure BF slag is not suitable as filling in land treating wastewater.
