  • Abstract
    PID controllers are becoming quite common in the commercial, institutional, and industrial fields. Proper application and tuning of this control algorithm can bring many efficiency and performance benefits with it. However, improper applications, lack of understanding and poor tuning of these controllers are often the main causes behind many commissioning problems. This paper introduce a new practical industrial type of I-PD controller. The implementation and theory behind the I-PD controller are further discussed also.
