Abstract
In this paper, we investigate the problem of stabilization, detection and tracking of moving or stationary objects in a forward-looking infrared (FLIR) sequence. A multi-fractal formalism is proposed for stabilization and activity detection and the method is compared to three other classical techniques in image processing
