Abstract :
RT-70 mirror system was designed according to a principle of homological deformations. Deviations of the deformed mirror from the optimal inscribed paraboloid arising in reality remain the main cause of the radio telescope efficiency reduction. According to the results of the conducted calculations, one can conclude that deviations of the deformed mirror from the approximating paraboloid can be compensated with sufficient accuracy by adjusting the main mirror surface through actuators for operation at wavelengths of 1-2 mm
