Abstract :
In providing computing products and services to the market place, DEC experience all of the problems which their customers experience in building their software applications. As a consequence, they have a large and ongoing interest in improving software quality and productivity. The author gives an overview of software engineering at DEC, looking particularly at training and networked computing facilities
