Abstract :
At every hop in a conventional frequency-hopped spread-spectrum multiple-access data communication system, each transmitter sends its data using a single frequency bin. In the present paper, a code diversity frequency-hopped spread-spectrum multiple-access scheme, in which several bins are simultaneously used by the transmitter is studied. In particular, the work in Ong and Leung (1993) is extended by taking into consideration the effects of noise and slow nonfrequency selective fading
