Abstract
Examines and compares different diversity approaches combined with linear equalization in order to cope with the unavoidable multi-path propagation effects existing in mobile radio channels. The goal is the definition of the best strategy to combat both fading and frequency selectivity affecting such channels. Complexity is analysed and the performance is compared on a common channel simulation basis
