Abstract
GRIP is a high-performance parallel processor, designed to execute functional languages using graph reduction. Substantial computational power is provided by 80 M68020 microprocessors and 20 microprogrammable intelligent memory units, while low-latency communication is provided by a high-bandwidth bus. Prototype hardware is now working, and the project is actively seeking partners with computationally-intensive applications requiring parallel hardware
