Abstract
This paper presents synthetic aperture radar foliage penetration phenomenology measurements from the US Navy/P-3 Ultra-wideband SAR experiment conducted in Grayling, Michigan, in 1995. Clutter backscatter coefficient, two-way attenuation, and phase statistics are presented for the fully polarimetric, high-resolution P-3 data. Measurements of target radar cross-section versus target orientation and target phase statistics are reviewed
