The majority of manufacturers and research establishments are working on alternatives to whole vehicle tests, mostly based either on TEM cells or bulk current injection. When attempting to correlate the results from these component tests with those from a whole vehicle test, it is tempting to attribute any poor correlation to the inaccuracy of the component test method.
