Abstract
An approach to behavioral simulation is presented. The basic goals of the research have been creation of a new tool for behavioral simulation of ANNs (artificial neural networks) by fast prototyping, complete exploitation of features and characteristics of tools which are commercially available for simulations, flexibility and generality of the behavioral description for simulation, and implementation of a tool which is capable of simulating mathematically complex behaviors. To achieve such goals experiments were conducted with the use of the electrical simulator SPICE as the algorithmic kernel of the behavioral simulation. The mapping of ANNs and hearing mechanisms onto electrical components are discussed
