Abstract :
Thermal management of battery system plays an important role in vehicle industry. An accurate yet time efficient model of the battery system thermal dynamics is essential for design, temperature monitoring and control process. In this paper, a brief review of the advances in thermal modeling of vehicle battery system is given. Based on the review results, the future challenges for vehicle battery system thermal modeling are presented; and a multi-domain, multi-level intelligent modeling procedure for thermal dynamics of vehicle battery system is then proposed.
