Abstract :
Summary form only given. Optical communication has been growing rapidly and requires continual improvement in the performance of optical data link modules. Especially, compact-size low-power consumption modules are required for OC-48/STM-16. In many cases, several supply voltages were required for optical receiver modules. In this paper, compact and low-power consumption 2.5-Gbit/s SDH/SONET 3R receiver modules for intra-office/short-haul and longhaul transmission are reported.
