Abstract :
Three-level loop tufting machine provides great capability to jacquard carpet production, and also brings difficulties for the pattern design processing. To meet this requirement, this paper proposed a pattern preparing system for the tufting machine. Through the analysis of the basic pattern design requirements, the pattern preparing software structure was designed, in which core module includes pattern design and pattern conversion part. Pattern design part based on image processing accomplishes jacquard pattern computer aided design. Pattern conversion part transforms the design patterns into control pattern which is based on varied technical conditions. The proposed system was developed with the C++ language.
