Adverse Selection in Online Search

We test the adverse selection problem in search engine results and report our work-in-progress on the trustworthiness of popular search engines results. We also give our reflection on user behavior and satisfaction level while performing search functions. On the methodological side we try to develop a new approach in measuring performance and trustworthiness of Web search engines. We highlight the problems associated with evaluation and suggest for future research.
