Abstract :
RDGSM(the Regional Database for Geothermal Surface Manifestation) is a distributed database designed for IAEA which used to manage isotope and hydrology data in asian-pacific region. The data structure of RDGSM is introduced in the paper. An mobile database structure based on J2ME/J2EE is proposed. The design and development of RDGSM isotope database is demonstrated in detail. The data synchronization method, model-view-controller design model and data integrity constraint method are discussed to implement mobile database application.
