  • Abstract
RFID-based meat track and traceability system involves data acquisition of meat circulation information among the Distribution Points (DP) and the lifecycle traceability from customers to distributors and finally to manufacturers. The traceability system is established based on the distribution network of the enterprise, with each distribution point is deployed with RFID system. It acquires data from the products with RFID tag and then connects them into data flow of product circulation. The traceability system works from customers back to manufacturer, by connecting to ONS server of RFID system via Internet to get the IP address of PML server at each product-related point and to obtain the circulation information of the product accordingly. Meanwhile, it facilitates the monitoring and management of product flow from authorities and recall of products if necessary. Appropriate developing environment and proper tools are adopted to realize a convenient and vivid product track and traceability system.
