Abstract :
The SEA USE Council is the regional forum of those Federal, and State and Provincial agencies of the United States and Canada concerned with the scientific and economic development of coastal and ocean resources in the Northeast Pacific Ocean area; to the end of assuring coordination of regional marine oriented efforts. Established in 1969, the SEA USE Council has demonstrated the value of the concept of "consultive regionalism" by assuring regionwide cooperation in development of a government-public-commercial consensus as to the optimum strategies for developing the region\´s coastal and ocean resources.
