Abstract :
For the aim of reflecting the randomness, fuzziness and the relevance between the two existed in the back analysis of earth rockfill dam´s seepage property, by assumption of normal cloud distribution of the seepage parameter, a new back-analysis method based on cloud reasoning is presented in this paper. The method hangs together the uncertainty and reasoning, which is a think process that starting from the uncertain initial evidence, using the uncertain knowledge, and the reasonable conclusion with a certain degree uncertainty was deduced finally. At last the method was applied to the back analysis of a dam´s seepage property, and the result shows that the application is feasible.
