Abstract :
Nonresonant perturbation can be applied to measure fields in both low and high loss high-frequency systems, and in high loss dielectrics such as biological phantom materials. Its application to the measurement of hyperthermia applicator field distributions and microwave thermography antenna response patterns in regions of realistic phantom materials is considered
