Abstract :
This paper introduces the power control technique, multi-user detection technique and joint power control technique in CDMA cellular systems. On basis of researching and analysing a single-bit joint power control, we propose and evaluate a variable step joint power control based on the Markov state. And under the condition of MATLAB, it compares the joint power control based on MMSE and the variable step-size joint power control based on Markov state. The test result shows that variable step joint power control based on Markov state can make the capability of the system much better.
